Local Battle for a Contested Council Seat

Out of the clear blue, or maybe not the clear blue, a battle has emerged between 4thDistrict council-elect member Joe Males and former city council candidate, 83-year-old Miguel “Mike” Madrid.  There are questions on both sides of this story.

HOMELESSNEWW IN HEMET – HOW DID IT START?

The homeless problem in Hemet started with the City Council well over a decade ago.  Back in 2010, when Chuck Washington (our current County Supervisor) sat on the Temecula City Council), an attempt was made to bring the homeless “industry” to Hemet.  After that attempt failed, Washington turned to Hemet.    Temecula is much more informed and educated (at least at that time it was), and they saw the writing on the wall.

Just for the heck of it, I thought I'd attach the report showing our current investments.  At the current time, federal rates are 0%.  Jeez, the idea is to make some money.  We also have what’s called a Warrant Register.  If you think it’s a headache to read this attached report, you should try looking at the Warrant report.  What an education that is.
